Since starting up AAUK have been fundraising and spreading the word of autism across the UK. Our charity has offered support to families from all over the UK in a bid to show people that autism is so much more than a label. Having autism or caring for a child with autism can feel like climbing a mountain.. therefore each year we take that mountain on!
So why not join our 7th annual ‘Climb For Autism’ Mount Snowdon challenge on the 14th September 2019.
Not only will you earn your Saturday night kebab and beer after the 9 mile round trip on the Llanberis Path & scaling the 1,085 metre mountain, you will get a great sense of achievement and also you’ll be supporting a great cause.
The first annual ‘Climb For Autism’ took place on the 10th August 2013. Each year a group of inspirational people from all over the UK met up to take on the challenge of climbing Mount Snowdon. It is incredibly hard work but spirits are always high and if we a lucky to be treated to mild weather, you will be treated to the stunning views Snowdonia has to offer.
Roll on 14th September when we get to do it all over again!
