Climb For Autism 2022
Since starting up AAUK 10 years ago we have been fundraising and spreading the word of autism across the UK. Our charity has offered support to families from all over the UK in a bid to show people that autism is so much more than a label. Having autism or caring for a child with autism can feel like climbing a mountain.. therefore each year we take that mountain on!
From 2012 – 2019 we ‘Climbed For Autism’ for 7 consecutive years! Unfortunately due to the Coronavirus pandemic we have been unable to climb since then but are thrilled to be able to restart our annual climb in 2022!
So why not join our 8th ‘Climb For Autism’ Mount Snowdon challenge on the 10th September 2022.
Not only will you earn your Saturday night kebab and beer after the 9 mile round trip on the Llanberis Path & scaling the 1,085 metre mountain, you will get a great sense of achievement and also you’ll be supporting a great cause.
The first annual ‘Climb For Autism’ took place on the 10th August 2013. Each year a group of inspirational people from all over the UK met up to take on the challenge of climbing Mount Snowdon. It is incredibly hard work but spirits are always high and if we a lucky to be treated to mild weather, you will be treated to the stunning views Snowdonia has to offer.
Roll on 10th September when we get to do it all over again!
